WHERE IS YOUR NAME?

Have you signed up to be a part of the Mark Initiative?

We have posted on the white board in the kitchen an awareness spot for the Mark Initiative. You will see on this board the central book of the Bible we will be studying. You will also see the four cornerstones of this study.
1 - Pick a Partner
2 - Make a Commitment
3 - Take it Seriously
4 - Grow in Christ.

You will see the names of those who have made the commitment to be a part of this exciting study. You will see those who have partners already and those who are looking for someone to partner with. Let me encourage you to join us as we come together to grow together to watch before our eyes, God transform this great church into an even greater church.

My dad, for years, had a small piece of paper taped to the pulpit he preached from with the following reminder…

EXPECT A MIRACLE!

I want my life to be lived expecting God to a miraculous new thing right in front of me. I have seen God do miracles many times. The greatest is when we get front row seats in seeing a sinner become a saint through salvation.

I know God wants to a "New Thing"... "A Miracle"... "A Life Changing Movement" among His people at EBCI. Think about that for a moment. God is inviting us to join Him in His work and wants to speak to us through His word to grow us into someone more like Christ so we can reach the nations. This is not an option, it is a command. It is also built upon the fact that God is sovereign and has equipped us with everything we need to accomplish His purpose as we allow Him to live in and through us.

Do not think about being a part of this, step up, sign up and enter the first step in becoming the Disciple God intends for us to be. If you think about it, you will probably find many reasons to not be a part – all of which are to your detriment.

I love you EBCI. I want the best for you. Studying God’s Word together is part of that demonstration of love.

Calling all EBCIers to choose Jesus first. Great to Greater.
